Hockey Features

• This is a co-ed, friendship, competitive hockey event

• 3 skill divisions to accommodate adult players with limited to advanced hockey experience

• Team composition/Skill level - most teams are comprised of players with a wide range of hockey experience.  Intermediate through elite co-ed players welcome.

• ALL players are passionate about hockey, love to play and don't mind a beer or three with their new International hockey buddies.

• Friendship event/rules.

Day 5 | Fri, Sept. 20 ► Game #5 & 6, visit Neuschwanstein Castle, pub crawl, Tournament party
Day 6 | Sat, Sept. 21 ► Game #7, possible Game #8, Tournament closing party
Day 7 | Sun, Sept. 22 ► Transfer to Munich, Oktoberfest beginning at 4:00Pm (Armbrustschützenzelt Beer Garden) 5 hr ticket.  Day in Munich.  Last tour event.  Hotel on own.  Tour complete.

Tour Objectives
To provide enthusiastic North American adult players with the hockey trip of a lifetime at an incredible value.  Planet Hockey will provide exclusive adult hockey experiences to players and their accompanying family members and friends, including competitive games with multiple European teams, unique cultural experiences such as castle visits and an authentic Oktoberfest beerhall event, new International hockey friendships and other rich cultural experiences.

Teams
Planet Hockey is organizing 1-2 teams comprised of North American co-ed adult players based on the Divisions below.  We are limited to 2 teams.  Each team is limited to 16 total players, including 2 goaltenders.

Hotel Subject to Change

All players and tour guests will stay at a Hotel, which is in the town center of Fussen and a short 5-10 minute walk to the rink.

2024 Pricing/Payments

STEP 1 - Please complete this short Player Profile/Participant Reservation Form to reserve your 2024 Oktoberfest roster spot for you and any accompanying guests.  Once submitted, you will be contacted by tour director Edmund "Vogy" Vogrich.  You can reach Vogy at 708-658-6656 (Illinois).  This form does not require payment to submit.  

STEP 2 - Speak with Vogy, answer all questions, discuss current status.

STEP 3 - Confirm your spot with a $500 deposit per participant (by April 1).  Finalize travel plans.

STEP 4 - Pay final tour balance.
 

• Tour Cost

  • Players: $2,599

  • Non-players: $2,399

  • Early Registration Special:  $100 discount for commitments ($500 deposit) prior to March 31, 2024.

• Tour cost does not include air travel, lunch and 1 dinner.

• * Airport transfers to Fussen available on 9/17/24.  Team Bus leaves Munich Airport at 2:00pm on 9/17/24.  TBD

• All Tour components subject to change. Final tour schedule to be provided prior to departure.

• Booking Airline Tickets - Each player/family is responsible for planning and booking their airline tickets.

Deposits/Payments

• Deposit #1 – Non-refundable $500 deposit per by April 1st.  Spots are not reserved until deposit is received.

• Final Payment due June 16, 2024.  All tour members must be paid in full.

• Late payments subject to a 15% late fee

• Players/families may be removed from tour list and all monies forfeited for late or non-payment

Tour/Travel Notes

• Air Travel – airline tickets, reservations and planning is the responsibility of each participant.  You may choose to arrive early, or leave late to see other parts of Europe (many people do).

• Airport - Munich International Airport (MUC)

• Airport transfer - airport transfers may be provided to tour participants who arrive MUC according to our soon to be announced transfer dates and times (will be provided on September 17 only).

• Hotel lodging based on double or triple occupancy (2 or 3 per room). Single room upgrade available - additional $499.

• Tour details and a check list of suggested ‘things’ to bring will be sent to you prior to the tour.

• Passports are required of ALL participants.
